This is a actual Wurlitzer Jukebox. Accept no substitute. This is a 1940s model, and the guy who fixes them. He sells and fixes, as it so happens. Truly, a Wurlitzer jukebox fix-it-guy is neat thing indeed. To be the guy that knows such a person, is also, indeed, full of nift.
I can't give too much technical info about it. In the front, the little slats at an angle actully fell intransit, as careful as we were. I helped move this beast after the death of my good friend's dad. Jimmy used to work for a huge record company. He filled the jukeboxes with the original 45s he used to sell, back in the day. If you've never seen a Wurlitzer jukebox working, you need to make it a point to see it. If only i had video... anyway, the white glasine edge actually lights up, and changes colours, as does the inner tube.. It has lights all over, and plays phenominally. |
